  • Juice Recipes for Good Health

    Healthy juices are a great snack to tide you over between meals. All you need is a blender, fresh fruits or vegetables and milk. Juices will not only fill you up but are also healthy.

    Watermelon Juice Recipe

    Ingredients:

    • 1 cup watermelon cut into cubes/ 1 cucumber cut into slices
    • 5 Lemon wedges
    • 10 mint leaves
    • A pinch of rock salt
    • 1 litre of water

    Method:

    1. Mash the watermelon/cucumber, lemon wedges and mint leaves together.
    2. In a pitcher or a jar, add the mixture and to it add one litre of water.
    3. Refrigerate for one night, let the flavours and vitamins steep in, and enjoy this refreshing drink daily.

    Other flavours-

    • Watermelon, strawberries and rosemary
    • Orange, lemon and basil
    • Pineapple, lychee, ginger and mint

    Winter Smoothie Pineapple juice recipe :-

    Ingredients

    21/2 cups pineapple juice
    21/2 cups orange juice (freshly squeezed, sections for garnish optional)
    3/4 cup plain yogurt
    1 banana (peeled and halved)
    3 tbsps honey
    1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (garnish)


    DIRECTIONS
    STEP 1
    Fill one ice-cube tray with pineapple juice and another tray with orange juice. Place in the freezer until frozen, several hours or overnight. Place yogurt, banana, honey, and cinnamon in the jar of a blender, and process until smooth. Transfer to a bowl, and set aside. Rinse blender, and fill with pineapple ice cubes and remaining pineapple juice. Process until smooth.

    STEP 2
    Divide among four glasses, top with reserved yogurt mixture, and place in the freezer. Meanwhile, process the orange-juice cubes with the remaining orange juice. Remove filled glasses from freezer, and top with orange-juice slush. Garnish each glass with additional cinnamon and an orange section, if desired. Serve immediately.

        Can someone please suggest a healthy juice recipe that prevents from cold... And which also keeps us healthy in winters??
