    Sales productivity has emerged as one of the chief concerns among businesses today. Sales productivity is the rate at which a salesperson acquires revenue for the organization. Rather than pushing salespeople to work harder, an increase in sales productivity is primarily concerned with salespeople using their time more effectively. CRM systems, Sales Automation Software, and other sales productivity tools now play a vital role in enterprise sales productivity. Companies are willing to invest increased amounts in these tools which mean successful implementation, roll out, and adoption has become integral to the sales productivity effort. The reason so many companies are scrutinizing their sales productivity rather than focusing solely on increased revenue boils down to sustainability. While growing revenue, quite naturally, remains the major aim at most companies, an increase in sales productivity represents a more holistic goal to aspire to.

    Against this backdrop, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Chandigarh Council is organising a workshop on Productive Sales Strategies and Targets Achievement from 0930 hrs (Registration) – 1700 hrs on Thursday, 9 July 2015 at CII NR Headquarters, Sector 31 A Chandigarh.

    Mr Ketan Bhagat is a dynamic sales professional and a celebrity author. Other than being the younger brother of India's most influential writer (Chetan Bhagat) and receiving an occasional compliment for his sense of humour, Ketan's persona is so common that one doesn't even need to describe it. An MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, Ketan has almost 15 years of sales experience behind him. Currently a regional sales manager for one of the world’s largest software organizations in Mumbai, in his prior role Ketan has done sales stints in countries like Malaysia, New Zealand and Australia for Satyam Computer Services Limited. He brings with him a wealth of successfully courting complex multimillion, multi-geography from noted international brands. Ketan’s successful stint as a bestselling author is another example of his exemplary selling skills. The brother of Chetan Bhagat has been successfully able to carve a niche for himself by successfully churning two consecutive bestsellers that are been adapted into Bollywood movies. Ketan is also a popular motivational speaker.
