Two engineering students showcased an app they created for the benefit of farmers, during a competition organised by Accenture and yeahindia on Thursday.
According to a report in Bhaskar, students Yash Aryan (Civil branch) and Monika Rajput (Computer Science branch) of IES College in Bhopal devised an app called FIMS application which would help farmers get timely updates on water supply required for irrigation purposes. It also has the system of allowing them to pay their water bills.
