    bout GRI:

    The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is a network-based organization that has pioneered the development of the world’s most widely used sustainability reporting framework and is committed to its continuous improvement and application worldwide since its inception in 1997.

    About this course:
    The Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development, the GRI certified training partner launched the GRI Certified Training on Sustainability Reporting in India, in 2009 on a big scale in Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. Since than the centre has trained more than 500 professionals on sustainability reporting process . There has been great interest and participation from diverse sectors across the country i.e. Beverage, Manufacturing, FMCG, Infrastructure, Electric Utility, Automobile sectors from Corporate Affairs and Communication, Corporate Planning, Environment – Health and Safety and Corporate Social Responsibility departments and the consulting firms too.

    With launch of most awaited GRI-G4 version in May 2013, we are pleased to offer the 3-day course based on GRI-G3 guidelines & G4 bridging module. The companies using the GRI guidelines shall have to start producing reports as per G4 version 2016 onwards. Therefore, for the benefit of participants CESD shall be continuing the training based on both the versions. The 3-day course shall cover the topics of GRI-G3 (as mentioned below) + G4 bridging module (covering the changes from G3/3.1 to G4). The basics of G3 version and transition from G3 to G4 shall help the participants to continue the reporting journey in their organizations.
