India were poor, in equal part the bowlers and batsmen. In the first ODI, barring R Ashwin and Suresh Raina, the bowling was pedestrian; the quicks were distinctly ordinary, conceding 148 in 19.4 overs out of a total of 307. Bangladesh getting to 300 for the first time against India was crucial, and helping them on the way was a record opening stand of 102 in just 13.4 overs. In the second game, India's batsmen came undone.
