    After threatening to stop accepting credit and debit card payments, petrol pump owners change their decision late on Sunday night. Pump owners had threatened to stop accepting cards as banks had decided to levy transaction fee of upto one per cent. However, after the Centre stepped in, pump owners decided to defer the decision by four to five days.

    Really it will help common man a lot as there are still many areas in country, facing the shortage of cash; which directly affect the daily routine of the individuals.

      The days of filling up your car with petrol using your debit or credit card are coming to an end. The government has stepped in and said that petrol pumps will now accept cards for the time being. This is to help combat cash shortages and inflation. Petrol pumps will continue to take cards for the foreseeable future, but customers must remember to bring enough cash with them.
