      Hi...

The city of Bangalore has beautifully combined its rich cultural heritage with its technological and industrial accomplishments. Infact, this blend of traditions with the modern culture has made Bangalore one of the most happening cities in India. If on one side, the city is acquiring the status of the IT Capital, on the other, there is a revival of age-old traditional art forms. The fusion of the old and the new can be seen in every aspect of Bangalore culture, right from its theatre to its arts and crafts.

Bangalore also is known as Bengaluru, is the capital of the Indian state of Karnataka. It is India's third-largest city with an estimated population of 8,474,970 (2011). In a recent survey, conducted by the global HR consultancy Mercer, Bangalore was voted the most liveable city in India, beating Mumbai, Chennai, New Delhi, and Kolkata. In terms of cleanliness, Bangalore ranks 12th in India. Once called the "Garden City of India" and the "Pensioner's Paradise", these epithets no longer apply to Bangalore, which is now a large, cosmopolitan city with diminishing green spaces and a large working population. Bangalore is the major center of India's IT industry, popularly known as the Silicon Valley of India.
