CII Online Master Class on Consolidation of Financial Statements- Companies Act 2013 1500-1700 hrs, 27th August 2014 : Live Webcast
As you may be aware, The Companies Act 2013 mandates preparation of consolidated financial statements for all companies that have one or more subsidiaries. These would be in addition to the separate financial statements and are required to be prepared in the same form and manner as the separate financial statements. As per the 2013 Act, even intermediate holding companies within a group structure may need to prepare consolidated financial statements. This would pose significant challenges for unlisted and private limited companies, who would be preparing consolidated financial statements for the first time.
Given this background, Confederation of Indian Industry-SR is organising the “Online Master Class on Consolidation of Financial Statements- Companies Act 2013” on 27th August 2014 from 1500-1700 hrs to highlight the impact of the amendments and to help industry, understand about the same. The webinar will have a presentation from Mr Chinnsamy Ganesan, Partner – Audit, BSR & Co.LLP &Chartered Accountants followed by a Q&A.
Mr Chinnsamy Ganesan has an experience of more than 10 years in big accounting firms in audit services. He has authored a book “A Quick Reference on IFRS with model Q&A” on International Financial Reporting Standards and “The Revised Schedule VI Ready Reckoner” of new reporting format under the Companies Act, 1956. Mr Ganesan has published almost 500+ papers and 25+ articles on his area of specialization.
