  • Holiday in Chandigarh Schools for Prime Minister Modi Visit

    Chandigarh administration on Thursday announced a holiday on September 11 owing to the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the inauguration ceremony of International airport in the city.

    The examination earlier scheduled on Friday in all the schools of UT have been postponed.

    As per the schedule, Modi will inaugurate the international airport and then pay a visit to the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER).

    Later, the PM will address the crowds at Sector 25 rally ground and then hand over keys of Sector-63 CHB flats to successful allottees.

    Adequate security arrangements have been made for his visit in the city.
