Although someone insulted the statue. Is this the correct manner to show ur aggressiveness. Have anybody ever thought what is the loss being suffered by Mumbaikars due to such Bandh in mumbai ?:o

Perhaps these people tried to restore glory to statue of Ambedkar.

Or maybe our fellow "Indians" could not take the ignominy of being treated as less than animals any longer. After being killed for someone thinking you ate a cow, after being forced to beg for food even if you could afford it because the higher castes wanted to keep you in your place, after arbitrary detention, torture, extrajudicial executions, and forced evictions, after all this maybe the final straw was the desecration of one of India's greatest leaders. Maybe it was the spark that lighted the anger of a community that had taken this for too long.

Yeah right Nikster. And so they went ahead and destroyed public property. The property was not their uncle's property.

It is made from the sweat of the hard working tax payers.

If everyone has this kind of mentality I wonder where the country will head to.
